THIS IS POOL PLAY BRACKET SUBMITTED IN RANKINGS
Lenny Carroll On-Site GSA Director 404-202-3346
Their Will Be A Gold & Silver Bracket After Pool Play Is Seeded. Gold Will Be 1-4 Seeded Teams And Silver Will Be 5-8 Seeded Teams.
NEW RULE BY SANCTIONS GSA, TITANS, USA, NFHS, USSSA & USFA. ***LEAPING NOW IS NOT AN ILLEGAL PITCH. The pitcher’s push off to drag, or leap must start from the pitcher’s plate. The pitcher must not crow hop or push off from any place other than the pitcher’s plate.
IF VERIFIED A TEAM HAS ILLEGAL PLAYERS THE TEAM IN FAULT WILL FORFEIT ALL GAMES AND BE REMOVED FROM TOURNAMENT. All Scores Will Show A 7-0 Score For the Team Not In Violation. The Team in
Violation Will Show A Last Place Finish.
***NO GRILLS OR FRYERS*** ALLOWED ON PARK PROPERTY.
5 Runs Per Inning Allowed BUT Is Open In 5th Inning. The Reason Restricting Runs Per Inning Is We Have Some Minus Teams Mixed In With Bronze And Copper Plus. Did Not Have Enough Upper Level Teams To Separate in Another Bracket.
Pool Games Can End In A Tie. 3 Points For A Win, 1 Point For A Tie And 0 Points For A Loss. For Seeding Purposes If More Than 2 Teams Are Tied In Points Head To Head Does Not Matter. It Then Goes To Runs Allowed And 2nd Is Runs Scored.
Higher Seed In Bracket Play Has The Option to Be Home Team.
If Weather Issues Go And Check Your Bracket 7PM & 10PM Friday And 6:30 AM Saturday. I Will Keep It Updated If Needed And Also Can Call At Same Times 678-656-2436.
IN THE EVENT NOT ABLE TO FINISH TOURNAMENT (RAIN, LIGHT CURFEW OR ETC.) BELOW IS WHAT WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE 1ST & 2ND. ANY INNING STARTED MUST BE COMPLETE SO THAT TEAMS HAVE AN EQUAL # OF BATS.
OTHERWISE, THE FINAL SCORE IS DETERMINED BY THE LAST COMPLETE INNING.
Example #1: #1 seed beats #4 seed and qualifies for Championship. #2 & #3 never play due to rain. #1 Seed is Champion & #2 seed is runner up.
Example #2: #4 seed beats #1 seed and qualifies for Championship. #2 & #3 never play due to rain. #2 Seed is Champion & #4 seed is runner up.
(Seeding doesn't change because #4 beat #1. #4 is still the lowest seed remaining and can't be champion unless they win it on the field!)
Example #3: #4 seed beats #1 seed and qualifies for Championship. #6 & #7 never play due to rain. #4 Seed is Champion & #6 seed is runner up.
In the event of a rainout where NO team has qualified for the championship, the 2 remaining highest seeds will be named Champion & Runner up regardless of any un-played games.
