How to administer your league at GSA
1. First thing is to login on our website at http://gsateams.com
2. When you login the system should take you directly to your profile page. If not or if you are viewing anything else on our website all you have to do to get to your profile is click on the My Profile tab at the top of the page.
3. From your profile page click on the red Manage League tab. Then click on the League that you want to manage. This takes you to the League profile page. Or you can hover your mouse over the Leagues tab at the top of our website. Then click on Search League Profiles. Choose the Year, Sport, Type, and State. Then choose your league from the list. 4. Before adding games and creating your league schedule you need to first add your park or parks. Click on the blue Park link to do this. You may see a list of parks already. If your park is listed here all you need to do is click in the box to the left of your park name and then click Add selected Park to League. If your park is not listed type your park name, address, city, and zip code at the top and click Submit. Then click in the box to the left of your park name and then click Add selected Park to League. Here is a short video to show you how to do this. http://screencast.com/t/tWinyaonlF0h
5. The next step is to add your teams to the league. They do not have to all be added at 1 time. For big leagues you may want to have 1 or 2 administrators for each age group in the case of Youth leagues. Or one or two administrators for each classification or division in the case of Adult Sports that do not have age groups. Then each administrator can add the teams they are in charge of. There is 2 ways of adding teams.
A. First determine if any of your teams already have team profiles on our website. To do this click on the blue add teams by search link. For leagues with age groups select the sport, age group, and state. Click the box to the left of each team and then click the red Add to League link. For leagues with no age groups select the sport, and state. Then click the box to the left of each team and then click the red Add to League link. B. If any of your teams do not already have a team profile on our website click on the blue Add Teams link. Fill in the teams information and click Submit. Here is a short video on how to do this. http://screencast.com/t/LeDqiyp9Gv
6. To add games and begin creating your league schedule click on the blue Manage League link. Then click on Add Games. For Leagues with Age Groups select the From age and To age for the teams you want to add games. Then select the park for which you want to add games to the schedule and the number of games you want to add. Then all you do is select the date, type the time, type the field number or name, and choose team 1 and team 2 from the drop down list of your teams. Then click the red submit button. 7. To post scores click on the blue Manage League link. Then click on Add / Edit Scores. The games will already be posted if you have already done the schedule so all you have to do is post the scores after each game. When you click on Add / Edit Scores this shows the entire league schedule. But their is search options so you can narrow the schedule to get to the games you want to post scores for. You can search the schedule by choosing a date range and / or by park name. And for leagues with age groups you can search by from and to age group. 8. You can add all your coaches as league admins and they can post the scores or they can send the scores to you or another admin. However you decide to do that. We recommend not having to many administrators. The more administrators the more chances of something getting posted wrong. 9. To upload a league photo or logo click on the blue Upload Avatar link. Here is a short video on how to do this.
